Berneche2 was very receptive to our ideas, courageous to maintain momentum, and vigilant to the building and project details even long after construction was completed. They demonstrated professional integrity and personal pride throughout our four-year project.

We wanted our house to not look like it was out of a plan book, and he was able to provide innovative solutions for our project. We approached Berneche2 at the recommendation of a contractor parishioner who has worked with Tim. We wanted a design partner who would develop a concept cognizant of our wants and needs and not dictate a design. While we handed Tim a daunting task with some unfair expectations, Berneche2 designed a cohesive layout that works very well for our programs. He advised us on where some of our decisions might create issues but tailored the project to accommodate our wishes. His communication skills were excellent giving us clarity to foresee issues where possible. He was great at bridging gaps between parties and was always reachable. Tim gave us exactly what we were looking for.

Berneche2 is able to put together a complete package from great building design, complete documents, procuring contractors and overseeing the construction process. Berneche2 raised many issues on user interface and other architectural issues we would not have considered without the guidance of an architect. We found the three-dimensional imagery Berneche2 developed to be very helpful in visualizing the end product.

We found Tim to be extremely personable and trustworthy.  He is highly responsive and became personally involved in our project.  Tim understood our needs, interpreting them into design and incorporating many of the details.   He was very patient through some difficult and frustrating setbacks and major project scope changes and finding economic solutions to meet our needs.  We were extremely pleased with his commitment to our project.

Tim’s greatest attribute when designing for a client is simply ‘he listens to what you want’ and does not design to what ‘he thinks it should be’.  The quality of his documents assured that we did not have cost overruns or construction delays.  In multiple cases the projects turned out better than we expected, and Tim is a pleasure to work with.  I highly recommend Tim to anyone needing architectural services in the future.

Tim brought creative ideas to our remodel project which we chose to implement.  We were particularly pleased with the way he heard our desire to have the house embrace the natural landscaping already present.  We have recommended Berneche2 to friends and would do so again in the future.
